MR500

The MR500 Series is the latest taximeter to enhance our product range. It is unlike any of our other taximeters you have seen. Its unique design was the result of extensive consultation with taxi industry professionals. The Series consists of black and purple, with blue and silver to be added in the near future. It’s sleek design, 155 x 50 x 25mm, compliments any taxi giving a vibrant look to your interior. It’s light, 350grams, yet robust, has a choice of fittings and is user-friendly. The MR500 is designed to the latest European Standard being the first taximeter to be tested to the Measurement Instruments Directive (MID) in the UK. The quality of the taximeter is assured as it is manufactured to the International Quality Standard ISO9001. The Series is backed by 5 years manufacturer’s warranty.

MR500 VIEW

Following on from the success of the 500, Cygnus have added the 500 VIEW to the range, a mirror meter to rival the rest. The MR500 View is the latest taximeter to enhance the MR500 taximeter series. It is unlike any of our other taximeters you have seen. Its stylish design will enhance any taxi interior, retaining all the facilities of the 500.

T2 TAXIMETER

Its innovative wiring and connector arrangement means that the T2 has no projections at the rear which would make it difficult to fit onto flat or curved surfaces. It installs easily onto any car dash board or into various other positions such as overhead. The T2's four buttons are backlit to ease night use. The T2 has extensive tariff capabilities and may be programmed by your dealer to handle any combination of time, distance and fares. The T2 can hold a large number of "special day" information in order for it to automatically select the correct rate to charge. Alternatively, it can be completely manual, so that you choose the tariff you want to charge. In addition to the normal totaliser information, the T2 allows you to recall the fare, extras and distance information from the previous journey.

The T2 has 2 RS232 serial ports which can be used for connection to data terminals, printers and card readers. Two serial ports means that the T2 can communicate with a data terminal and print receipts at the same time.

T-TINY

A revolutionary design that is compact yet stylish and powerful.The T-Tiny is small (107mm x 58mm x 28mm deep) and light (135g), but it loses none of the style and ease of use of its bigger brother, the T2. The size of the T-Tiny eases the task of finding a suitable location for a taximeter. In common with the T2, the T-Tiny has a completely flat rear panel, with no projections which would make installation more difficult. An optional 7-button coded remote control unit makes the T-Tiny even easier to operate, and further opens up the choice of possible mounting locations.

The T-Tiny's two buttons are backlit to ease night use. The T-Tiny's tariff capabilities match those of the T2, and the same tariff programmes may be used in the two families of products. The T-Tiny can hold a large number of "special day" information in order for it to automatically select the correct rate to charge. Alternatively, it can be completely manual, so that you choose the tariff you want to charge. A third option allows some degree of manual tariff selection, but retaining the convenience of Calendar Control.

We can offer a wide range of style and sizes of hire signs, including the amller windscreen signs. Available in a variety of colours and sizes, most of our signs can be sign-written with your own text and numbers. A standard 19" approx. sloping magentic sign is typically around £55, and a majority of our signs are now LED lit.

More durable signs are available from £75 in the 19" size. Larger 36" sizes are available to order and can come complete with your own design. Call us for further details.
